Who is the real Caitlan?

Well you see sometimes I question this same thing! Crazy huh? Well this week I have really started to think about it and I have really turned to the one thing that never fails... yup Heavenly Father/Christ. I have been so blessed to have such an amazing blessing that I can read anytime I want. This week I have read mine about three times! I LOVE IT!!! Yes, normally I don't read it that much, but I probably do read it at least two times a month. It helps me remember what I am supposed to do in this life, what great things are ahead of me, how loved I am, and most importantly who the real Caitlan is!

Not to brag, but I have been blessed with man great talents. I have started to find this talent I have in art! I have turned into a pretty good photographer lately and some people are noticing it.
Weird, I just kind of have an eye for it you can say. I'll look at something so small that others over look and think or say, "This would be such a beautiful picture". I also, thanks to my art class last semester have realized my talent in actually drawing and designing pictures. This is not to say I am amazing in anyway, shape, or form. But it is a talent I never would have guessed I would have. It is so cool and it really relaxes/helps me clear my mind.

One of the biggest ways I have always been able to clear my mind (besides the church reasons) is athletics. However, the main sport of mine is soccer!
I have loved it since I was basically born! Not once in my life can I remember not kicking a ball. Yes, I have kicked every kind of ball you can imagine... basketball, volleyball (sorry Melanie), softball (kind of hurts), bowling ball (ONLY kick very lightly with the inside of your foot FYI), racquetball, etc seriously name it and I most likely have kicked it! Most of my childhood memories revolve something dealing with soccer. My mom constantly was telling me these phrases "No playing soccer in the house", "Caitlan, that is not a ball so don't kick it" (something like that), and "Just pick it up with your hands not your feet. Ha! I love that sport and always will!
Unfortunately I had a couple of very not so fun experiences in high school with the sports because of disappointments because of how I was treated by a coach or two. Soccer started to not be fun for me so I had to stop for a little while before I ended up hating the sport. It was a very good thing for me to do because even though I didn't play on the varsity team I was blessed to help coach the freshman team at my high school! Oh I have been so blessed! I cannot wait to be a coach one day! Playing soccer for just fun in college (even though I wish I was playing for fun while on a collegian team) has been something I look forward to ever semester! This semester my time is pretty dang good too! I can't wait for the tournament to start in two weeks! We have only lost our first game and we were missing some of our better players! Wahoo!

If you remember any of the times you love about the "real Caitlan" don't be shy to share! :-D I know I have been so very blessed with many great talents and gifts. The list can go on and on about who the real Caitlan is, but those are the main ones I love well at least that are in my mind right this minute.
