He decided he wanted to match me when I asked him to wear a tie to church that I hadn't seen before. It was so funny to match as we went to church because no joke at least seven people commented on how cute it was that we were all "matchy matchy". I loved it! He is just such a cutie sometimes!

I made him apple crisp instead of a cake because he has been asking for me to make him apple crisp for just about a month so I decided it would be a fun surprise for him. I think he like it a lot! It was a success except that he got me nervous about burning it so I kind of took it out a little bit early. It still tasted great though!

Only one more week until he comes to San Diego and I CANNOT WAIT!!!

I accomplished my goal!!!!

For the past two years on my college "bucket list" hearing the song "Closing Time" has been one of my goals! In our library they play this song everyday when it is closing and I have heard people tell me how cool it is to be there to hear it or at least that is fun after studying that long. Well these last two days (meaning Thursday and Monday because those were the last two school days) I have heard it both times! Wahoo I am on a studying roll! I need to be too since this week is a HUGE week for me.

Life=Good

Life is good. Stressful? Yes, but also good! I have been so blessed to have so many great friends, roommates, family, and all kinds of support in my life.

I've decided that I will be staying at Snow next semester and I am planning on going into Math Sec Ed. :-) I am so excited and determined to make it happen. Yes, it will be great and hard, but I CAN AND WILL DO IT!!!

As for now, this week is going to kill me! I have a test I need to take to place me in the right math class and a test in Physics on Monday. I have a paper in Physics due on Monday as well. I have a presentation next Monday and Tuesday... I think it is oh wait no it is Thursday not Tuesday. I am pretty sure I am missing something else, oh and I need to sign up for my classes for next semester. First I need to go take that test to see which math class I should sign up for.

Positive thing is I get to keep my AMAZING roommates who I love so much! Sometimes we get into our day little tiffs, but that is VERY rare. I love it! Plus I love Snow. The down part of staying here is I will not be in Provo and close to all of my friends and family up there. Little Ben was so excited to have me so close FINALLY, but I need to stay down here for one more semester. He has been looking forward to me living by him for the past four years now! I love that boy!

Anyways, thanks for all of the loves and prayers you have given me. Life is going great! Thanks for everything! I love you!

The road is bumpy and I have a two flat tires

My life was going so great up until a week ago. I had been accepted to the Utah Valley University Elementary Education program and my relationship with Scott couldn't have better. Then Wednesday had to come... I ended up having this strong feeling that I needed to not be dating Scott right now and it was just overwhelming so what did I do... I broke up with him. However, lucky for me I was driving up to Provo that day in order to meet with the last advisor before I accepted to join the Elementary Education program.

I went to the meeting with my advisor first and in that meeting basically it ended with me signing the paper saying thanks for accepting me, but I'm not going to do the program. My parents, advocate, and I decided it would be too difficult for me at this point in my life so I signed that dream of mine away.

Right after that meeting I went over to see Scott, joy! However, Scott wasn't home yet from work and I knew that so I stayed in my car and called to talk with my mom. Basically that conversation I just bawled my eyes out, not so much about me not doing the program, but more because I was just about to break up with the boy I love most.

Then Scott came home and as soon as he saw me on the phone talking with my mom with my eyes full of tears he knew it wasn't going to be good. So he came over and opened up my door and just sat by me. Then my mom started talking about me breaking up with him and I did a good job about quickly turning down the volume on my phone and telling him to leave. It was a good thing he didn't hear anything, but his name.

When he came back to the car I got off the phone with my mom and I didn't think I could cry anymore or I should say harder, but I did. He just looked at me and said asked what was wrong I told him and just cried because I really didn't want to break up with him. He knows I really didn't want to and it was and still is the hardest thing in the world to not be with him. Although it is really hard for me, he is having a MUCH harder time with us not dating and just being friends. That about kills me.

Wednesday was UGLY! I didn't think things could get much worse and thankfully I had a 99.7 fever. Great right? No, well yes I did have that bad a of fever, but I also had a final in both soccer and racquetball. Good thing I won both finals! Wahoo! That day was a good one minus getting way sick.

Sunday was hard too because I totally forgot until the day before, but it was family day. Basically one Sunday durning the fall semester our ward invites all of the parents/families to come and after our meetings we have a dinner. It is great... if you have a family here, which I don't. Yeah can you say homesick!!! I wanted my mom with me on Wednesday to help me, but now I had to deal with seeing everyone with their moms and being even more lonely! AWESOME!

Yesterday was alright. Since I didn't do the Elementary Education program I needed to choose a new major and quick. Well I love teaching and have always wanted to be a teacher. Before I was having a hard time deciding if I wanted to be an Elementary or Secondary (PE or Math) teacher. Guess that was kinda made for me now right. All I need to pick now is PE or math, which will be kinda hard. It does let me breath a little though knowing I have those back ups.

READY FOR THIS... I AM BLINDSIDED!!! I just got an email from the Secondary advisor and the same reason why I didn't do the Elementary Education program is also required for Secondary Education. GREAT! I am just full of luck! AHHHHH I am just about ready to give up. I think Heavenly Father is trying to guide me somewhere, but the only thing I can think of is to go on a mission, but I need to meet with a counselor program thing to see if I can. The only reason why I have to ask them is because they are paying for all of my schooling and I have no clue if I am allowed to take a break from school. Ah If I am not allowed to take a break from school to go on a mission I am SCREWED!!!!

Roommates and True Badger

My roommates and I still need to take our roommate pictures and we really don't have any together. It is kind of sad, but we have a ton of fun together. I love them so much! However, we do have some cartoon drawings of all of us.

My roommate, Jennie, is amazing and drew all of these. The first one is of all of us as Disney Princesses and the few of us who are dating people she drew our princes. I love it! Scott and I are Prince Charming and Cinderella!

The newest drawing that is now up is all of us as Harry Potter characters and since there isn't as many girl main characters we decided we would be guys. Once again the the roommates who are dating people are with us, but this time they are girls. :-) We think it is pretty funny!

True Badger Night

True Badger night is just like any other college where they have a True (insert mascot here) night. At Snow we gather around our Bell Tower, which is at the center of campus. Once the clock strikes midnight you kiss your boyfriend/girlfriend or some people ask a friend or even a complete stranger (I think those people are crazy!)

Scott and I are not fans of kissing in front of people, but with this experience we made an exception. Luck for us or not so lucky (I'm still trying to decided on how I feel about it) the could kind of near to us were "going at it". I am pretty sure they were just about to swallow each other whole! It was gross. So I'm pretty sure everyone was looking at them and I don't think anyone really saw us. After we kissed we went and bought these True Badger shirts for $5. I think that is a pretty good price. Then I took Scott around Snow and showed him the campus. It was fun to share my different experiences with him.

As you can see I am still loving Snow and Scott. :-)

Great Weekend

Scott came down this weekend and it was a blast!
That boy treats me so well! I received my seventh set of sunflowers from him and he received his 3rd gallon of chocolate milk from me. It has started to be our little tradition of once one of us buy one thing the other returns the favor. Aka when he buys me sunflowers I buy him chocolate milk and vise versa. It is kind of fun!

We had a cute little picnic at this park next to my school. Knowing us two we had some fun at the park and skipped rocks, which lead to a water fight. I am pretty sure I won the water fight even though he begs to differ and says the only reason why I won was because I wouldn't give him the camera. Why would I do such a silly thing? He had his cell phone in his pocket so I couldn't get him soaked. We are like to peas in a pod. Sometimes it is too freaky how alike we are.

After the picnic my roommates and I went to the Relief Society Conference, which was AMAZING! I loved all of the talks and especially Uchdorft's talk! I can't wait for this next weekend for General conference. It's always enjoyable to listen to our church leaders.

Once we got home all of the girls quickly changed and a whole bunch of us went to an awesome bonfire

and got snow cones after. I loved the two new flavors I tried together, Pink Phi Ti and Polar Punch! So yummy!!! The whole weekend was a blast and I am so glad I was able to spend time with my roommates and Scott!

The Life of Caitlan

Okay so I am going out of order, but that kind of explains a little bit of my life as well... What have I been doing you ask. I have been going on lots of dates with Scott, moved back down to Snow College (I will be getting my AS degree in December and then will move back up to Provo/Orem to go to UVU), been having a blast meeting new people, loving all of my roommates, talking with family on the phone and the biggest one...

I went home with Scott right before I moved back to Snow. Scott is from Vegas and I absolutely love his family. They are some of the nicest, down to earth, fun people I have ever meet. We did all sorts of stuff down there, but my favorite was how we mostly stayed at home and talked with his family. It was such a great experience and the drive brought Scott and I a lot closer and now we have lots of inside jokes. :-)

I made a "Y" cake for the big BYU-Utah game, which was a complete joke and was over within the first 2 minutes of the game. So disappointing!!!

I donated blood again!!!

Wow!!! This boy loves me and has now given me 6 sets of sunflowers!!!

Nickel City over labor day weekend. We didn't get a lot of prizes, but then again we didn't really want any either. We enjoyed playing the games though!

Black light mini golf is one of the coolest things ever! I had a blast and as for Scott... Lets just say mini golf is NOT one of his talents. haha

I had such a blast that weekend visiting his family and finally being able to meet his mom and oldest brother. I meet the rest of his family in July because I was invited to go with him on their big hiking trip in Zion's that they do every year. They actually do a couple of them each summer.

Needless to say my life has been everything but boring!

It has been awhile

I am sorry I have been slacking this summer with posting. Since I can't really type all of the fun adventures I have been up to let me do something better. Show you pictures of most of them! Here comes a post of mostly pictures, which I hope you enjoy. :-)

This is the AMAZING Sarah Kidd. She was my Relief Society president and it only took us about two weeks to become best friends! No joke we became so close until she left for Uganda as part of the Help International program. She is so awesome like that. She comes back on Saturday though and I am so excited to hear her fun stories!!!

(Amy Meadows, Sarah Monson (who has grown to be one of my best friends even though we haven't lived by each other for a year!!!), and Caitie Philburn (only the coolest roommate ever!!! We instantly became friends the first time we meet each other. I'm going to be so said when I move back to Snow and she stays here.)

Ethan, Rick, Christie, my dad, Brett, and I all went to NY this summer for fun and had such a great time. Brett loved the city and I loved the church historical sites. It was always nice to spend more time with Christie, Rick, and my favorite little guy, Ethan!!!

My dad was so nice to go do baptisms with me inside the Manhattan temple! Such an odd temple too. It has three stories (the first floor is the temple, second a distribution center, and the top is the chapel. So crazy)!!!

I took off as soon as we got here. I didn't care to spend much time inside the farmhouse and such. I wanted to spend as much time as I could inside the Grove!!! It was so AMAZING. This is the bench that I sat at the whole time, which was pretty far up in the Grove.

I LOVE REESE'S!!! When I saw a giant size "candy bar" of them I had to buy it! There was two half pound size cups and I had to compare it to the normal size. I was in Heaven!

Scott is such a sweetheart! He always surprises me with sunflowers. The first time was the morning after we meet, the second was when I came back home from San Diego, the third (which is these) was when we went to Walmart to pick up a few things, and my newest bunch came Monday. Each time he writes me the cutest notes and this last one wished me luck for my big test.

We have been on two hikes in Zion this summer. This is the Subway and his dad took the three of us (Scott, me, and Autumn, a girl in my FHE group and who Scott had a HUGE crush on before he meet me. I still can't stop laughing about it.)

Yes, did a few fun repels during the hike. However, the water we sometimes repelled into was FREEZING!

This was Mystery Canyon, which we hike with his family. Everyone was there except his mom, Laurie (one of his sisters) and Brian and his family (Scott's oldest brother).

I've played in two kickball tournaments with my old roommate Kylie. It has been so much fun to play with her again.

Scott and I have been to two Real Salt Lake soccer games!

This was our second game and we had 6th row seats!!!

Sarah Monson, Scott, and I went to PF Chang's thanks to my sister we were able to all eat there for only $12 total!

Sarah loves nature and all of the beauty of it. Look out points count right? I think they do and if not they certainly do have their own beauty.

Another temple (Provo) done for us! Sarah and I are trying to go inside of all of the Utah (at least Utah County) ones.

I love this place! Scott took me here on our first date and they seriously have the best shakes I have ever tasted. They literally put pies and cupcakes inside their shakes if you order one of the pie or cupcake shakes!

Scott and I went to Color Me Mine, which is a place where you pick out something and then paint it yourself. They then do the final polish/glaze/whatever you call it to make it a final product. We choose to paint a bowl so we can actually use it. While we were finishing it we decided to put the date on it and we then realized it was our two month dating mark! Such a fun surprise. I was shocked neither one of us remembered. Then again we are counting every 30 days instead because of our awesome chain... (Each day one of us writes down on a paper strip our favorite memory of us and we link it onto our chain. One person does that every day until the next thirty days are up. It is now Scott's 30 days to write about us. We are on days 61-90!)

It has been a summer to remember for me! Crazy how fast time has flown by! I move back down to Ephraim next week and school starts the week after that. I am so not ready for school to start again!
