Soccer...I'm rattled with a CAPITAL "R"

I am really rattled right now... Not because we lost our semi final soccer game, but because five minutes into the game one of my new best friends/teammate Amber jumped up into the air to head the ball. When she jumped up so did another guy on their team. Not good. She went to do an offensive header (which is when you push the ball down with your head kinda like punching it down with your head). She ended up bonking heads with the other guy and just dropped to the ground! We kept on playing because that normally happens and the players just get back up, but she didn't and that is EXTREMELY weird for her. Amber was holding onto her head and was curled up onto the ground. We went over and no joke there was blood rushing out of her head. It created a BIG puddle and dragged out about 8 or so BIG drops. It was not good. We immediately starting to give her pennies, bandages just anything to help her put pressure on to try to stop the bleeding to create a clot. Needless to say I was rattled the whole rest of the game.

Then another one of our girls, Megan, (who I LOVE and played with me last year) was attacked too. She was stepped on too many times and basically had one of their players drag their foot down her leg giving her a nice cut. She dropped to the ground and I instantly thought not her too. At half time she was icing her leg and came out to play more. Then about 10 minutes later she again was attacked and dropped. She wanted to play more, but I told her no and made her quit playing for the rest of the game.

Yes we lost the game extremely badly. The worst we have ever lost actually and not because we didn't try or because we just didn't come to play. We lost because all of our team was rattled and worried about Amber or at least I was... Then with Megan getting hurt/being hurt. Our team couldn't focus. Basically after the game some of our team was upset about the loss and some were upset because of the injuries and some of us were upset about both. I am on the verge of tears and every someone asks about my game I tear up. I still haven't heard what is happening with Amber from the hospital, but I don't expect to till late tonight or tomorrow morning. I hops she is okay. Keeping her in my prayers for sure!
