Loving Life

Wow I really know what people mean when they say "time flies when you are having fun". At first moving up here to Snow was really hard. However, now I am having a way better time and I am meeting more and more people. I am loving all of my classes and my teachers are way good. But we all know school isn't the most fun thing in college. I have also started to play lots of sports up here. To start of the year I played softball and got a huge cut in my leg that is now finally healed however I have a great battle scare now =) In the middle of my softball league I started to play soccer as well which has been way fun except I haven't been able to go in awhile because I have been practicing for our Powder Puff football game which will be on Tuesday. I am way excited to play since we weren't allowed to in high school. I am going to be the kicker, playing corner, and being a sneaky play QB. I am way excited to beat the sophomores because their coaches are one of my friends husbands, another one is engaged to one of my roommates, another one is dating one of my roommates, and the last one some of my roommates want him to ask me to homecoming haha. The last sport that I am playing right now is Ultimate and our tournament is this Wednesday and I actually got asked to play on a team by one of the guys in my ward like 2 weeks ago.
Church has been going really well now too. It took forever to get settled and I don't even know who all is in our FHE group yet but we had our first one last week and got ice cream! =) My calling is the mission prep teacher which is way weird because normally is it an RM but I love it and it is a great way for me to meet the guys in our ward =). Also my roommates and I just about every week go to the temple and read our scriptures on the grounds and sing songs. It is a way neat experience and I look forward to it every week. =)
Besides all of that I really don't know what else I have been up to. But this week is homecoming week and I am really excited for our Powder Puff game. Also I am really looking forward to next Sunday because my sister is getting her Patriarchal blessing which is way cool! I am so Proud of my sister and I am so blessed to be able to have her live close to me so that I can visit her! I am also really happy that she invited me to come along so that I will be able to share this spiritual  experience with her. We were able to go to General Conference together for the Saturday Morning session and that way really cool but besides that I don't think I have every had the chance to share a spiritual experience with her so I am way excited. I am sure I will cry like a little baby too but I am way proud of her! =)

Snow so far....

Snow so far has been alright! I love my roommates! They are the most amazing people ever and defiantly an answer to my prayers! I have do so many things here at Snow already. Every Wednesday we have Western Swing which is really fun because I love swing dancing. My roommates and I also try every week to go to the temple on Sunday and read our scriptures which is a great experience and I look forward to it every week! My ward has also already done baptisms for the dead which was awesome. This means that I have now been in 5 temples that I can remember (San Diego, Newport Beach, Bountiful, Draper, and now Manti). I have also been blessed to be the Missionary Prep Sunday school teacher and today was my first day giving a lesson. I thought it went pretty well even though there were only four people in the class today and all of them were ladies. haha Next week we are going to try to get more young men to come haha.

I have done a lot of other fun things too which don't involve church like going up to see Stacee which has been awesome! I love spending time with her and little Jeffery! They are so much fun. I also went rifle shooting over Labor day weekend. I shot a 22 rifle and I loved it because it didn't have any kick. I also have gone four wheeling with my roommates! Over all I would say my Snow experience has been really fun except for the whole studying part, that has been a little more difficult but I am dealing with it.  My teachers are way good though it just is a lot of work which I am way not used to. Oh and I scraped up my leg pretty badly playing softball but it is all good because I made it home! haha I also have been really sick this last week with Bronchitis but I am finally getting better which is way good! =)

Bye San Diego and Hello Ephraim

This last few weeks have been a huge roller coaster of ups and downs as I left my home in San Diego and now I am in my apartment in Ephraim for College... It was SOOO weird packing everything in my room and cleaning just about everything and more that I could imagine. My mom even made sure I cleaned all of the baseboards in our house before I left =) It was an adventure trying to get everything cleaned and packed while trying to spend time with my friends and family before I left!!! It was really hard saying goodbye to everyone and I caught myself crying a lot the last two days before I left and again when I left Stacee's house saying bye to my dad. I love my family and they have become some of my best friends this past year so I really didn't want to have to say goodbye to them, I even delayed us leaving the house for like 2 hours so I could spend more time with them =) My last full day in San Diego was a ton of fun though! I started off my day by finishing cleaning up my bedroom and then it was off with my girls. Heather, Kelsey, Tara, Megan, and I all went out for ice cream (it was the kind that you get at disneyland) and then we came back to my house because Tara had to go back home for her dads birthday. After that we went and bought cookies and doughnuts from Albertsons with all pennies!!! It was so much fun and I couldn't stop laughing!!! Heather has always wanted to buy something with all coins and I had just randomly saved about $2.40 in pennies so we decided to go out and spend them. We would have felt bad if someone had to actually coun

t it all out so we went to the self check out lines. It took Heather, Kelsey, Tara, and I nine minutes to pay for it! =) We then took our treats to a park and we ate them there and messed around on the playground and in the grass. It was a lot of fun!!!
After the park we went home and then I went to drop Heather off at her house and then went over to say goodbye to Josh and his family. That was a really hard goodbye.
I have loved getting to know Josh and his family better. They always make me smile! It was so cute how when Josh
opened the door Jen and John came running out to give me a hug! I am really going to miss that him and his wonderful family. After I said bye to all of his siblings and Jen hugged me for the 10th time Josh walked me to my car as he always does and we spent a little more time talking toge
ther. We both didn't want to say goodbye and it was very difficult knowing this was our last time together so after teary goodbye it was time for me to go.
After Josh's goodbye I came home and I made my mom open her birthday present early so that I could watch her open it (and so we could watch it together). It was a perfect present because she had forgotten that she asked for it. I gave her confessions of a shopaholic and it was soo much fun watching it together with her!!! We stayed up tell like 1:30 watching it and then we went to sleep.
Then in the morning we packed the car, helped Brett with his eagle project, and I received my father's blessing. It was another teary goodbye as I said bye to my two best friends in the entire world, my mom and my little brother!!!
I miss them soo much and I wish I could have them here with me but I know I have to be here and that they are only a phone call away, THANK GOODNESS!!!

I love and miss everyone back home but I know Snow is going to be fun once everything gets going
