The little things..

Make me sooo happy!!!
I was finally able to go home this weekend and it was such a blessing! I loved spending time with my mom and Christie and Ethan and just the whole family! Of course every family has their dramas and this weekend for us was no exception. However, it was nice to be home! I love seeing Ethan and boy has he grown! He is no little baby anymore. He is up and running and jumping and trying to talk. (He will get there pretty soon I am sure). He is so much fun to be around!
I know I have said this before, but I LOVE his laugh! Every since time he laughs it makes me smile! I love how he gives kisses, it seriously is the cutest thing ever! He goes up to your cheek and opens his mouth and just say mawh! Most of the time he doesn't even touch your cheek! I love it! On Monday we went swimming with him and I cannot even begin to tell you how much this boy loves water! It is crazy! Even if our sink is on he say "that or there" and instantly you know he wants up to play in it. Needless to say he loved finally being able to go inside the pool. It was fun to splash and hold him. He wouldn't let go of me and I loved it! Even if Brett went to hold him he would reach back for me. What aunt wouldn't love that? Anyways, Ethan is my little joy in life some days.

There were so many other little things that made my weekend so great! Another one of my favorite things was to be able to spend time talking with Christie and my mom. We really wouldn't be doing anything except talking. I love being able to do that since we all rarely are able to talk all together in person! Out of everyone in my family I can relate to Christie and my mom the most. We all have similar personalities compared to the rest of my family. Talking with them gives me so many more insights and I can really feel their love for me!
Now lets be honest, the whole weekend I loved spending with my family, but come Tuesday I was ready to come back home to Utah. Scott got back from Mexico on Monday and I hadn't seen him for almost 2 weeks. I was really excited to come back and see him. He picked me up from the airport and as soon as I saw him I got all giddy inside and felt like a little kid waiting to sit on Santa's lap to tell him what I wanted for Christmas. The whole way home we talked and then he dropped me off at my apartment. I came inside and my room was dark and I couldn't turn on the light because Caitlin, my roommate was sleeping. So I pulled out my cell phone and used that light to drop off my bags. I looked over on my bed and saw a little note from Caitlin's younger sister who thanked me for letting her use my bed while she was gone. I then turned and found these beautiful things on my desk! At first I thought they were from her and then I saw the paper inside of the flowers and sure enough Scott surprised me with them! I love how he does that! The little things in life are so great and Scott is pretty good at remembering them. I am very lucky to be dating a guy who is so thoughtful and does those little things that make me so happy!
