Gabby: Mommy, Daddy Help! Jeff: What are you doing? Ethan: I don't like this one bit!
I love it when all of my family gets together, most of the time. It is really crazy to have everyone home, but it reminds me of when everyone was little and my childhood. That is weird to say childhood. Also this break I officially moved out of my teenage years and am now 20. My family and I celebrated at Cheesecake Factory and it of course was delicious! Sorry side note there. Anyways I was super excited to see my sister, Christie, and her family because it seemed like an forever since I have seen them. Christie is someone who I really look up to and I hope one day to be just like her. I have always admired her and this break reminded me why. When ever everyone was driving me crazy she noticed and would always give me a hug or go escape with me. I love how she notices the small things about me and makes a change. We went to Balboa park one day and I was able to take picture of their sweet family. Ethan, her soon to be one year old is my favorite little boy! He has super cubby checks and his smile/laugh light up the room. He learned many things over this break including: how to clap, make car noises, walk a lot more, and the sound of my voice really well. When I called Christie this last week to say hi, Ethan heard my voice from the phone and Christie said he had the biggest smile on his face. I miss them already!
Durning the break my family and I went and played volleyball as well with our stake, went to the auto show and spent a lot of time in the house enjoying each others company. Christmas day was also a lot of fun because Jeff and I decided to play a small prank on my mom. We were talking through Target on Christmas eve and saw a present that was just perfect. It was 150 plastic balls, like the ones they have at McDonald's in the play place. We wrapped them in many different boxes and bags so my mom would have no clue how many balls there were. We also labeled it to Grammy K from the grandkids. When she opened the first big box her face was priceless and she couldn't stop laughing. Then she threw all of the balls into the air and she looked like a little kid. It was so funny and all of the grandkids, especially Jeff got really excited. With my family stuff like this can't happen without it ending in a small war of balls being throw in all different directions at people. It was a blast!
I love my family and miss them all very much. It was a great break and now I am back at school and finished my first week. It went really well! My biggest dilemma also has nothing to deal with school at all and that is always nice. My biggest dilemma comes from a friend/crush situation actually and we shall see what is going to happen, but right now all I can say is I can't stop smiling and 100% crushing!!!
More pictures coming soon.
