These last two weeks I have been in DC and Utah. DC was so much fun site seeing with Christie's family and my dad. It is such an amazing place and I learned so much about how our country was formed and about the incredible people in our countries history. I would go back in a heart beat without any question. Who wants to pay for my ticket? Please and thank you! Ha!
Utah was so much fun visiting all of my school friends and family. I really wish I was still up there and didn't have to come back to San Diego. I can tell you San Diego is no home of mine anymore. Some people say it is weird and that I should love it here, but I can honestly say San Diego has lost my heart to Provo/Orem area and Ephraim/Manti. It was so hard for me to move to school last year and all I want to do now is go back. Got to love how things change.
If there is anything thing I'm learning this summer it is faith in the Lord and patience. I've never had to rely on the Lord more than I have these last few months and I guess these are good qualities to learn sooner rather than later, right? =)
